Aurora Baycare turned to Immel Construction to renovate their existing third floor to provide a Cardiac
Catheterization lab. Cardiac catheterization is used to perform angiograms to detect and open blocked arteries. The process involves inserting a tiny plastic tube into an artery and advancing that tube to the heart. Immel provided phased construction phased and sequencing during the 2 1/2 month project to allow continuous operation of the Owner’s services to its patients. Constant diligence in infection control was primary to maintaining patient satisfaction throughout the project. Included in this new medical suite is a lab space for the new catheterization equipment, staff locker rooms, and new finishes.
