Aurora BayCare Cardiac Cath Lab
Immel Construction completed the renovation of existing third-floor space at Aurora BayCare to create a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab designed to support specialized cardiac care.
Description
The project included demolition of existing locker rooms, preparation and buildout of the new cath lab to accommodate specialized medical equipment, and installation of new interior finishes.
Working within an active healthcare environment required careful planning and coordination to maintain uninterrupted patient services throughout construction. Immel strategically phased and sequenced the work to minimize disruption to surrounding operations, with infection control and patient safety remaining top priorities throughout the project. Immel also self-performed demolition, carpentry, and infection-control measures, providing greater control over schedule, quality, and site conditions.
