Safety & Compliance

Safety is Our Most Important Core Value

Established in 1961, Immel Construction has built a reputation of providing construction services that are not only safe, but of the highest quality to our customers throughout the Midwest.

Our core values demonstrate our obligation to the success and future of our team, our clients, our subcontractors, and the communities we serve. Safety is one of these values, as it is our belief that our employees are our greatest asset. This is why we take great strides to ensure that our employees return home each day the same way that they arrived to work, injury free.

At Immel Construction we believe that ALL injuries are preventable and that an injury free work environment is achievable. Prevention of injuries to our employees, customers, suppliers and anyone else who may visit our job sites is our first and primary concern. As a member of our team, you automatically accept a moral obligation to the company and other employees to ensure the operations under your care, custody, and control are carried out in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner.

Safety consciousness must always exist in your thinking and planning throughout your day. It’s too late to prevent an incident once it has already occurred. Employees at Immel must not only prevent obvious unsafe acts and conditions, but must also anticipate potential hazards in everything that we do.

Throughout our history, Immel Construction has received many achievements and awards for our efforts to create a safety first culture:
